sorry, yet another test. I updated the indie web plugins on my (wordpress) blog, and now this one, Syndication Links by David Shanske, should publish this post to Mastodon and Twitter via brid.gy, without me adding markup to the post, but checking check boxes in the editor. 🤓

Well, this time the syndication only worked for twitter. I don't know what changed since my last test 5 days ago, but now brid.gy receives a 403 error and then is disconnected from mastodon. "Error 403, response body: '{"error":"This action is outside the authorized scopes"}'" and "Disabling source due to: 403 Client Error: Forbidden for url: https://mastodon.social/api/v1/media". I suspect somenthing has changed on Mastodon's end, maybe due to the measures they had to take to handle the massive amount of new signups and the traffic. :-/
